Eggs By The Dozen
It seems that, contrary to earlier reports, the EU is not about to ban selling foodstuffs such as eggs by quantity.
The BBC reports that Renate Sommer MEP, who is steering new food labelling legislation, said:
"There will be no changes to selling foods by number.
Selling eggs by the dozen... will not be banned."
