Initially they refused to remove the over-charge (which we proved we were correct about by consulting the menu), so we said we'd just not-pay the service charge (optional by law anyway). I can't stress enough how measured, sober and polite we are, this was not a 'lads night out' rowdy group by a long shot. But anyway, the manager exploded at this point (not literally unfortunately) and ran screaming and shouting to pick up the phone and dialled 999 to summon the police, actual police, blue lights, nee-naw, 'now then now then' POLICE. (They never turned up obviously as they have genuine police work to do and don't need time wasters like Myung Ga management stopping them from doing their work).

Avoid. Avoid. The other restaurant may be slating them threw various sources but look at how the other one has had to cut there opening hours during the week as its just not worth them staying open. I've been to Alberts table for 3 years and I've eaten all over the world, and they r great.the other mensioned restaurant is going under as all the business people in the area take clients to Alberts Table and not LC. It was clearly evident that the head chef was not working today.

I think we'll pay the additional parking and fuel and do the monthly Woseley lunch dates instead.

Such a shame.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795346.post-26471116678045105862011-07-12T06:41:30.933-07:002011-07-12T06:41:30.933-07:00Quilon is a truly fantastic restaurant, I was real...Quilon is a truly fantastic restaurant, I was really impressed with the food and service during my evening there. The food was tasteless, luke warm, mean portions and over priced. The service was off-hand and rude. The position of the place may be good but nothing else is. Steer clear.
